Hello,

First of all I'd like to say how much I *love* this product. Good work!

Now my question - is it possible to disable NCrunch for individual projects in a solution? Some of my projects can't be tested and I'd like to ignore them to speed up testing and remove the code coverage dots etc. I couldn't see how to do this in the NCrunch configuration window.

Thank you.

Hi Groky,

You can disable all the tests in the project by ignoring it in the tests window (just right click and choose the ignore option). However, if the project has build issues, the option to exclude it from your build is still a work in progress (though this feature isn't far away!).

Cheers,

Hmm, I tried that but the black circles are still appearing in the files in that project. Oh well, it's not that important. Thanks anyway!

The black circles will appear for any project that's built - regardless of whether or not it's covered by tests, though you can get rid of them if your turn off instrumentation on the project that you don't care about.

Thanks for posting. I'm glad you like the tool :)

Did this feature get released?

Have a trouble some project that contains no unit tests at present. Would rather exclude it that invest the time is fixing it up to build in NCrunch. Struggling to see how this can be done.

Yes! It did. Try the Ignore This Component Completely project-level configuration setting.

Many thanks..

I was looking for an option in the UI. Didn't think of looking at the .ncrunchproject file.

Problem solved for now.

I generally would recommend avoiding changing the .ncrunchproject file manually, as the settings in this file are driven by NCrunch's configuration window. If you can find the project under the NCrunch Configuration Window, it should be very easy to change the setting from there. The Configuration Window will also grey out projects that have been ignored to make them easier to spot.
