Hi,

If I believe that ncrunch (latest) is causing visual studio 2017 to crash, what't the best way to give you more info?!
Crash dumps etc...

It's not crashing when Nrunch is disabled.
multiple WPF projects in solution.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing this issue.

Is there any UI action that seems to specifically trigger the crash? Or does it just appear at random?

A crash minidump would be useful if you have a way to share it, though considering their size I understand this may not be feasible. Are you able to get a stack trace of any kind?

NCrunch itself is 100% managed code and it's rather militant with its exception trapping, so if this is NCrunch's fault, it's likely to be quite indirect. It may be very hard to trace this problem.

It looks like Visual studio hangs (ui frozen) when i press ctrl shift b. To build solution.
I would probably blame RC version of VS, but it does not die when ncrunch is not running. Having said that now I am thinking, it only started today and I was on VPN debugging tcp/ip communication. Ncrunch is setup with two grid nodes and does not execute tests on local machine. I can try more tomorrow. Done with vpn task but can do few more tests, crash was fairly often. Easy enough To reproduce.

Finally after all day happened with NCrunch disabled. Case closed :)
