FYI - Avast throwing a wobbly on v3.9.0.1. So far it's decided that the task runner and engine host are threats. Build host/test host not faring much better. Supremely annoying. Not your fault, I'm sure, just offering this as a heads up & might be useful to others.

NCrunch Version: 3.9.0.1.
Visual Studio 2017 Community version: 15.2 (26430.6).
Avast Version: 17.4.2294 (build 17.4.3482.0).
Windows 10, version 1703 (build 15063.332).

Hi, thanks for sharing this.

Usually AV systems have a way to report false positives. Is there any chance you could ping them and let them know?

Should probably also add - adding to exclusion list in Avast gets around this. Have added to my exclusions list:

* Root of my projects folder.
* NCrunch for Visual Studio 2017 path in Program Files (child of C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\{version}\Common7\IDE\Extensions)
* c:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\NCrunch
