I know from experience that Cake build scripts will fail to build solutions with a VSIX unless you specify MSBuildSettings.SetMSBuildPlatform(MSBuildPlatform.x86), so I expect something similar is at play here.
It would be nice if this requirement was autodetected by NCrunch.

Hi,
Can you share any more information about the problem you're encountering here? VSIX projects have build steps that are different depending on the version of Visual Studio involved. Generally under NCrunch it's recommended that you actually disable these build steps because they slow down the build system and usually aren't required under NCrunch.
