Location of Search Box

Hi,

I was wondering if the Search box could be relocated or setup to allow the user to reposition the search box if they want it in a different location.

In order to do a search I have to:
1) Mouse to the grey rectangle on the right-side of the menu.
2) Click on the grey rectangle.
3) Move the mouse to the search box.
Sometimes I don't move the mouse in the exact path to the search box
and the search box closes. Then I have to repeat trying to open the search box.
4) Type in my search words.
5) If I don't remember what I typed in the search box then I have to open it again with the above steps.

I'd love to have the search box always open and visible.

If I could move it to below the main menu strip where it would stay open that would be great.

I could see the search words and I could mouse to it and type in my next search terms
w/o having to reopen the search box.

I made a mockup of where I'd like to see the search box. But I don't see anyway to attach the picture.

Thanks for posting. Do you mean the search box on the Tests Window? Did you know that if you start typing while you have the main grid on the Tests Window selected, it will automatically go to the search box?
