NCrunch version 4.11.0.2. After installing using the MSI, "Enable NCrunch" is greyed out. Tried installing manually using the ZIP file. Unblocked it and unzipped to the VS extensions folder - still greyed out.
Tried running ncrunch.enginehost472.x64.exe from the command line and from windows explorer - nothing happens and no errors shown.
Looked in Event Viewer, could not see any errors.
What other troubleshooting steps can I do?
Cheers

Hi, thanks for posting.
My best guess here is that VS has decided not to load the package (it has a history of doing this at odd times, we've never been able to work out why).
Have you tried the removal and reinstall fix? Note that every step documented here is important (it is the same for VS2019/2022 as it is for VS2017).

Followed the Removal and Reinstall fix. At step 5 (devenv.exe /setup) the error "The operation could not be completed" is shown. "Enable NCrunch" is still greyed out.
Uninstalled visual studio using the visual studio installer. Reinstalled, (selecting only "Asp.Net and Web Development" and using all defaults). Rebooted, reinstalled NCrunch using MSI. "Enable NCrunch" is still greyed out.
Found the VS log directory at %temp%/VSLogs, can't see anything relevant in there
Just to reiterate, I'm on windows 11 and VS2022 Community, if that makes any difference.

Is the 'Submit bug report' option in the NCrunch menu available to you, and if it is, could you try using it? Hopefully there is a log in the report we can use.
Bug report submitted, cheers.

Thanks for sending through the bug report.
The report indicates that VS appears to be initialising NCrunch successfully and no issues are reported.
Do you have a solution open? NCrunch won't allow you to enable without one.

I can confirm that a solution is loaded (did have to think for a second!)

Got it working now. The 'Enable NCrunch' button became enabled after the solution was rebuilt.
Seems to be working now, thanks for the help!

That was unexpected. Maybe VS2022 can be late with the solution opening message. Good to hear you are up and running. We'll keep an eye out for this one.
