Hi,
When I open RDI Overlay, it is often not aligned with the code.
I use double 4k displays with 3840x2160 resolution and a 150% scale.
After changing the scale to 100% and restarting Rider, the RDI overlay appears to work as expected.

Also, RDI controls are clickable when the mouse cursor is clicked a few centimetres below:

Hi,

Thanks for reporting these issues. The mouse click is related to the UI rendering problem I think. I'm going to try an reproduce this and I will keep you informed on how it goes.

I've looked into this, and I can't reproduce it. I need some more information to get to the bottom of this problem.

You mentioned it happened often, does that mean it's not consistent? So sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't?
Does it happen on every source file?
Could regions be collapsed? (This should work)
Are other extensions changing the appearance of the editor?
Is there anything else you can think of that makes your Rider session different from standard?

Next to these questions would you mind submitting a bug report so I can have a look at the log files? It could be that something is silently failing.

Thanks for you patience.

I noticed RDI popups are often also misplaced when the window they're from has any horizontal scroll. Have you tried this scenario?

Could you check if you can produce this problem with the latest build? 5 days ago we released v5.8 with a whole bunch of DPI scaling fixes.
