Rider: Flickering when using horizontal window split

Hi,

When using the NCrunch plugin for JetBrains Rider, when I enable "Split tests window horizontally" the tab view with "Trace Output", "Execution Steps", "Log Summary", and "Hot Spots" starts flickering like it's constantly resizing or toggling the scroll bar visibility (see linked video). The issue doesn't occur when using the vertical split layout.

JetBrains Rider version: 2024.1.4
NCrunch Plugin version: 5.9.0.1
Operating System: Windows 11 (no PowerToys installed)

NB: Tangentially related - the tooltip for that button doesn't change when you switch split direction - it always says "vertically".

EDIT: This seems to be a duplicate of this issue.

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.

We're aware of this one and are working on it now. I recommend avoiding the horizontal split for the time being. I'm hopeful we'll have a solution out in the next update.

Please, notice that I'm experiencing the same on Visual Studio 2022, not just Rider.

This issue should be resolved now in NCrunch v5.10 (for both VS and Rider).
