Disable nCrunch whilst nuGet is updating...

We have an internal nuGet server and it takes a couple of minutes to update packages, it would be good if nCrunch disable building whilst nuGet is updating...

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not sure yet whether there are any hooks in the Nuget code that I can use to identify this scenario, but I'll certainly take a look.

Thinking about this it would also be good if nCrunch could be disabled if an update from source control is being performed because that also can reload projects etc.

The challenging thing about source control is that many source control systems are external to the Visual Studio IDE, which makes it difficult to establish when they are performing the update. Which source control system are you using?

Currently we're using SVN with AnkhSVN plugin for VS.

We're thinking of going to a DCVS possibly Mercurial with a VS plugin.

I suppose I was thinking that if the VS plugin generated some events indicating an updatez\refresh was taking place then nCrunch could then disable\enable etc. The fact I could update\refresh the code from out VS (file system) I think is outside of your control and therefore not really a concern.

Thanks Ollie. I'm afraid that source control integration in this particular instance is probably not something that I'm able to commit to. The level of integration needed to make this work would likely require significant effort. I'll make a note on the backlog to take a look, but I think it's a long shot!
