Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm simply blind, but I can't find this feature.
It would be greatly appreciated if nCrunch could run JS tests. I am presently using Jasmine, one of the best known JS test framework, and I have to run my tests manually elsewhere.
You could look at what R# does, it can run the test in phantomJS, a headless webkit browser. Enabling debugging in phantomJS would be a plus over R# too.
It would be important, I think, that you don't recompile the project before running the JS tests, since it gives no benifits.
I hope to see this feature implemented soon,
Thanks,
Jni

Hi Jni,
Thanks for the suggestion!
As NCrunch is primarily a .NET testing tool, it doesn't yet handle Javascript - although I'm aware that many .NET developers do also work with JS in combination with .NET.
So far this hasn't been implemented, as supporting Javascript would require a complete redevelopment of all of NCrunch's runtime components using Javascript. However, it's been quite heavily requested, so I will be look at this in more detail in future.
Cheers,
Remco

Fair enough, thanks for the interest in the matter!
I was thinking about this today, and I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking it. Any update on this feature?
Frameworks support that would be nice:
- QUnit
- Mocha
- Jasmine
You could also use a headless browser like, PhantomJS or ZombieJs.

Thanks and I love NCrunch. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!
Still no update on this one. It's a very big feature area and there is a lot in the pipeline so I'm certain that it won't be looked at in detail this year. Perhaps later!
I'm glad you're enjoying NCrunch :)

Just like to add my vote for including this feature if at all possible.
