Remote server: "Custom Environent Variables" is not persisting values after restart

I try to test out the custom environment variables feature but the name and values are wiped as soon as I restart vstudio 2012.

Thanks for sharing this issue. It looks like the persistence code was accidentally left out for this configuration setting. I've prepared a fix for this in the following build:
