VS 2013 - NCrunch_VS2013_2.16.0.13 - Error

Hi,

The new MSI did not detect VS 2013. Therefore, I installed it manually, but get this error when launching VS 2013:


The 'nCrunch.VSIntegration2010.CrunchPackage, nCrunch.VSIntegration2013, Version=2.16.0.13, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=01d101bf6f3e0aea' package did not load correctly.



The problem may have been caused by a configuration change or by the installation of another extension. You can get more information by examining the file 'C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\ActivityLog.xml'.



Restarting Visual Studio could help resolve this issue.

Does the ActivityLog.xml contain any useful information? A stack trace perhaps?

Make sure that when installing manually you also 'unblock' any files you've extracted from the ZIP. Windows can often implicitly block things when perhaps it shouldn't, and this causes assembly loading/resolution problems if they aren't unblocked via file properties.

Now I have been able to fix this.

Even though I have admin rights on the PC, it seems that the MSI does not run as admin. Running that manually from admin command prompt (using msiexec) installed this fine for me. No issues now.
