So.... I installed latest ncrunch on my desktop.... but now local ncrunch refuses to use ncrunch server, because local is newer.
If I update server, will other devs, on slighly older ncrunch (within past 6 months) be able to use latest server?
Or must everything be exactly same build of ncrunch?
Pls advise!

Hi,
The client and grid node software needs to be kept more or less in sync. Sometimes with smaller releases it isn't necessary to upgrade the grid node - this is indicated at the top of the release notes for each build.
If your local machine can't use the grid node without upgrading the grid node, then it is certain that upgrading the grid node will break it for other users of the node unless they also upgrade their clients. Unfortunately due to the nature of NCrunch, the grid node and grid client are very closely connected.
