NCrunch has helped us maintain high coverage (combined with TeamCity's failure-conditions, that fire when coverage drops below the previous build).

However, when builds are failing because of our failure-condition, hunting for places to add coverage to go green again is a bit labourious. It would be nice if there were a way to hide 100%-covered items from the NCrunch Metrics pane, so I could zero in on missing coverage.

Hi Peter -

It's great to hear that your coverage is high enough for the 100% values to be getting in the way :)

Before looking at implementing a specialised feature such as this, I'm wondering if I can suggest sorting the Metrics View descending by the 'Uncovered lines' column. You might find this is a useful way to identify areas of the solution that are lacking in code coverage. Does this help at all?

No - that doesn't help :-(

We have too many nodes and too much clicking for that to be workable. It's complicated by dotCover in TeamCity being slightly different from NCrunch, too, sometimes.

Hi Remco!

In Version 1.48 it was possible to define a Filter in Metrics-Window to display only rows which passes the filter. Why is this function in 2.x not longer available?

Hi Unger -

V2 included a complete replacement of the grid component, for a huge range of reasons. I wasn't aware that the filters on this component were actually working correctly in the Metrics view (when I last tested them, they didn't work).

Can I take your post as a suggestion that you would like to see the 100% filter option also?

Cheers,

Remco

Hi Remco,

yes, this option would be nice. But it would be much more nicer to allow the user to specify the "threshold" by themselves instead of a fix-value of 100%.

The filter-function in the past was absolutely sufficient for my needs. I didn't saw any problems with it.

Regards,
Unger
