Hi,

In multiple of my solutions (with shared code) the ncrunch circle at the bottom right of my visual studio is saying there is 1 project failing to build. When i click to open the NCrunch Tests window though it doesn't display any projects failing. Is there a way i can tell which project is failing? Don't like checking in without the green N!!

Thanks
Remco

Hi,

Thanks for sharing this issue. If there is a project failing, it should be showing in the Tests Window regardless of filter/grouping configuration. If this isn't the case, then it's probably a bug. My guess would be that the spinner is out of sync somehow. Do you get this consistently? Are there any build tasks showing as failed in the Processing Queue Window?

Cheers,

Remco

I figured out what the problem was. I had a conflicted .ncrunchproject file. The tests window said nothing about a failing build, just the spinner at the bottom. For future reference I have attached a screenshot of what it looked like screenshot. I also took a backup of the conflicted files just in case you wanted them!

Wow, that's crazy! By conflicted, do you mean conflicting inside your VCS? So that the XML form of the file was corrupt?

Yea, subversion. So it had:
<<<<<<< .mine
<IgnoredTests>
<NamedTestSelector>
<TestName>TESTNAME</TestName>
</NamedTestSelector>
</IgnoredTests>
=======
<IgnoredTests>
<AllTestsSelector />
</IgnoredTests>
>>>>>>> .r13377

It wasn't coming up in my ankh visual studio plugin though so i didn't see it for some time...

Great, thanks! I should hopefully be able to reproduce this then and clean up the experience a bit. Thanks for taking the time to report the issue.
