v2.10.0.4

The current way I use to output record which NCrunch version is being used (so I get that in TC's build log) is:
Quote:
ncrunch | findstr /R "v[0-9]"

Is that supposed to be part of initial console output when running?
(If not it would be nice to have --version switch and/or preferably echo the version used to console when starting.)

Hi,

Normally the console tool will emit the version number if you run it without parameters. It should be on the first line of text in the output.

Is this what you're asking? Or are you looking for the version to be emitted when the tool is used with parameters also?

Thanks!

Yeah, also it would be useful to output version of each grid node used.
For instance from a TC log:
Quote:

[15:02:14] : TeamCity server version is 8.1.4 (build 30168)
...
[15:02:48] : [Get dotCover version] Output: JetBrains dotCover Console Runner v2.7.2.84. Copyright (c) 2009-2014 JetBrains s.r.o. All rights reserved.
...
[15:02:52] : [exec] Microsoft (R) Build Engine version 4.0.30319.18408
...

etc.

i.e. it is good to be able to determine in logs which version of tools that were used during that build when troubleshooting etc.

Fair enough. I'll see if I can get it added :)
