Pretty sure everything worked before in the CTPs, but I tried to use NCrunch for VS 2015 (2.14.0.8) today with the new Visual Studio 2015 RC (Community Edition) and while everything works (installation, testing, metrics, risk view, etc.) there are no green/red/gray markers in the actual text editor (I am using dark theme and have custom fonts, etc., but I reset everything and still could not see any markers). This makes VS 2015 not usable and I am back to VS 2013 for now. Any workarounds or fixes anytime soon? Thanks :)

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.

I'm unable to recreate it with a fresh VM install of VS2015 RC with both the enterprise and community editions.

Would you be able to share some more details about this problem? I'm hoping there is something critical that I'm missing from my environment that is preventing me from reproducing it.

- Which exact release of VS are you using? i.e. enterprise, professional, community
- How was your upgrade of VS applied? Did you run the installer straight over CTP6?
- Do you have any other 3rd party packages installed?
- Does the problem appear for a new empty solution with a single minimal test project?
- Which O/S are you running?
- Does completely uninstalling and reinstalling NCrunch make any difference?
- Does running "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe /setup" as an administrator make any difference?
- Can you share a screenshot of the missing markers? This will help to establish if it's just the markers missing or the entire marker bar
- Can you submit a bug report after trying to run NCrunch over a minimal test project?

This issue has now been identified. It will be fixed in a build of NCrunch due out next week - http://forum.ncrunch.net/yaf_postsm7270_VS2015-RC-No-Markers.aspx#post7270.

Thanks. I guess you don't need the questions answered anymore. I spend a few hours finding the right version of ReSharper (which was the most frustrating part of VS 2015 so far, constant crashes when ReSharper was on) and then got all the usual suspects installed (details at http://deltaengine.net/learn/codingstyle#Setup ).
