Is there a way to programmatically access NCrunch Metrics data within VS? I want to merge the Metrics data with other data from our engineering systems to report aggregate stats back to engineers.

At the moment, it isn't possible to obtain this in-memory from the VS or NCrunch processes. Although this would be a good use case for the future NCrunch API - https://ncrunch.uservoice.com/forums/245203-feature-requests/suggestions/5655779-create-an-sdk-for-third-party-framework-support.

The NCrunch Metrics Window does have several data export features which you might find useful. When working in this way, it would only be possible to export the data manually. However, if you have a CI server running the NCrunch console tool, you could make use of the data exported by the console tool during each execution run (see http://www.ncrunch.net/documentation/tools_console-tool).

Thanks for the information, it did address my question.

Is there any timeline by when we can expect the NCrunch APIs?

It's hard to make a commitment on this with a number of things up in the air (i.e. DNX integration). I was hoping for later this year, but we'll have to see how we go.
