the symbol "_" replaced by " ". This is confusing me when I analysing the test output.

I have changed the text output font to Consolas - and it is all ok now.

I assume it has something to do with the O/S configuration or graphics card. Changing the font is the correct solution to the problem. You may be interested to know that the configuration setting for font settings was actually introduced primarily to target this issue.
