Hi,
I'm currently running VS 2017 15.6.5 and have NCrunch 3.14 installed, but all NCrunch functionality have disappeared from VS.
I've tried to both reinstall NCrunch and reset my VS settings, but it seems that the NCrunch extension doesn't get loaded.
Any tips on how to diagnose and fix this issue?

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.
This could be a VS caching issue of some kind. If you run "devenv.exe /setup" as an administrator (then wait for devenv to finish before starting VS), does this make any difference?

Hi again,
Sadly, no positive result. Is there a log or something that I can try to generate to help diagnose the problem?

Sorry that didn't work.
Would you mind checking that there is a "Remco Software" directory under your Visual Studio installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Professional\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Remco Software)? Do you perhaps have the Visual Studio preview installed?

Sorry for the late reply,
No, I don't have a Remco Software sub folder - most of them have jibberish names like e2dp3you.qw2.
I don't have any previews installed of VS2017 either.

Probably there is a problem with the MSI in your environment. Try downloading the ZIP instead and performing a manual installation.
Sorry for the late reply; the manual installation procedure worked! Thanks
