I have the latest grid node and vs 2017 extension available. The status on my grid note is always intializing. I've tried resetting the password on the node. This used to work so I'm not sure what's going on.

It's possible somehow the node is bugging out during its bootstrap.
Could you try turning on the logging feature inside the grid node's configuration tool, then checking to see if there are any exceptions in the logs?
