I already posted this as feedback through the plugin, but the default color scheme is bad for color blind individuals.

I have changed my color scheme to be easy for myself to use, but I think that it would be beneficial to switch the defaults to a more color-blind-friendly set. (#FF0000 and #0000FF are actually pretty easy for deuteranopes like me to distinguish.)

Please consider making the default colors a little bit more accessible.

Thanks for the heads up. This one is not obvious unless your colour blind I guess :)

1.31b (due out in the coming week) will have a wizard step that allows you to set the marker colours before you actually start using the program. I hope this will help to sort out the issue ... originally this was motivated by people who use a non-standard background colour in the IDE, though I can certainly see cosmetic advantages too.

Or if you have a certain colour scheme - I have a black background so I don't see the black (not covered) markers. A tool in the config/options to change the marker colours would be v. useful

This isn't a criticism - nCrunch is awesome, but this would make it that little bit better! :)

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Bitsprint,

Thanks for the post. 1.31b saw the introduction of a wizard that allows you to set the colours before you actually use NCrunch. It's probably quite easy to skip past it by accident, but I hope that this should make the colour tweaks more obvious... I did notice that many people with black backgrounds were struggling :)

The colours can also be adjusted in the 'All Solutions' area of your configuration.

Cheers,

Remco
