Installed the latest version of NCrunch on Visual Studio 2019 Enterprise because I was having issues with Live Unit Testing.

This is the screen I got. To solve the issue, I had to expand the settings and then manually change the global settings for font colors so that they do not match the theme. Changing the Visual Studio team to dark mode didn't help. Wanted to let you know since it is not a good first impression (I have used previous versions of NCruch so I want to convince my peers to upgrade)

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.

Is this problem consistently reproducable on your machine? If so, is there any chance you could get it to happen (using the defaults for the font colors) then submit a bug report? NCrunch usually tracks your colour configuration and should adjust this automatically unless you're using a plugin of some kind to customise your IDE colours.

Sorry for the bad first impression.

I am no longer able to reproduce the problem.

Just now, I tried going back to default colors and it matched my dark theme. I then changed my theme to light on Visual Studio and toggled again (between custom colors and Visual Studio colors) and NCruch got "stuck" on the dark theme.

I'd need to try and fully uninstall and reinstall to get it to happen but since my issue was solved, that is not needed at this time. We did get the upgrade approved so I'll watch for the issue if there is an upgrade again. I did want to make you aware of the issue and the workaround. The workaround was:
1) Extensions -> NCrunch
2) Uncheck "Use Simplified Configuration Settings"
3) Search for "Tool window"
4) Edit setting
5) Change to "User defined colors"
6) NCrunch display is fixed
7) Go back to the theme and it may be fixed for the theme as well.

Thanks for this extra info. We did introduce the user defined colors specifically to work around problems like this, as the IDE does have quite a bit of complexity around this area and it isn't always possible to cater for all scenarios. It's possible something is wrong/different with your IDE itself. If you get the problem to happen again, please do submit a bug report straight after. We might luck in with a useful stack trace.
