Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.

Presently we've performed no testing of NCrunch using this project template. It looks like a new one.

When I try the latest version of NCrunch over a project built using the VS .NET Core 3.1 Worker Service Project template, everything seems to build OK.

Is there an extra twist needed to make this fail? Is there any chance you could share your sample solution with me? You can ZIP it up and send it via the contact form.
