Hello, I have a problem with a project that doesn't build in Ncrunch although it does with MSbuild. I wonder if this is a problem that arises due to the presence of some excel files in the project

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

WARNING - ThisWorkbook.cs (29, 28): CS1998: This async method lacks 'await' operators and will run synchronously. Consider using the 'await' operator to await non-blocking API calls, or 'await Task.Run(...)' to do CPU-bound work on a background thread.

Thanks for any help, I'm no expert on the subject

Hi, thanks for sharing this issue.

My bet would be that you have an implicit build dependency on something (probably the excel files) that NCrunch isn't copying to the workspace used to build your code.

Could you make sure that the files are included in the project, or in the additional files to include setting?

Thanks, including additional resources did the trick. At first I found some missing references through the ncrunch log, but apparently not all missing references show up there.
