Hello,
We are Docker containerizing our build and test processes and currently use Ncrunch to calculate code coverage as well as to run our xUnit unit-level tests.
General Build and Test Processes (would like ALL of these to run within a Windows Docker Container)
1. Dotnet restore (nuget packages)
2. Dotnet build
3. Dotnet publish
4. Run ncrunch console tool to calculate coverage and execute xUnit unit tests.
I'm unable to find documentation or any mention of the console tool being installed or being run within a Docker container.
I can only find the document labeled "manual installation instructions" :https://www.ncrunch.net/documentation/manual-installation-instructions
Questions:
1. How can I install the ncrunch console tool with a CLI of some sort in order to install it within my Docker container?
2. In theory will the console tool work correctly in a Docker container?
Thank you.

Hi, thanks for posting.
I'm sorry to say that we do not support Docker in any shape or form under NCrunch. NCrunch has a long development history on the Windows platform and makes extensive use of O/S service calls with deep integration with the OS. Presently I do not see such support being added in future.

I do understand the complexities there, but it's still a huge disappointment. Thank you for the reply.
Hi Meagy,
I had a play around with this a few years back and recently resurrected my efforts (as we're planning on running some grid nodes in Docker images). I published a Dockerfile if you want to use that as a starting point.
Regards,
Matthew
