Daily Usage Issues

NCrunch stops working after switching branches and cherry-picking commits one too many times

Hey, I need some help.

A few days ago I was moving files from branch to branch and switching between them when NCrunch stopped showing my tests or my dots.

The engine is still enabled. I have disabled and re-enabled it a few times in attempt to reset it. Now its stuck on initialize, but the it says that the engine is idle.

I am on the latest version: 4.11.0.2
I am using Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 Version 17.2.0 Preview 1.0

I have tried disabling and re-enabling NCrunch.
I have tired deleting the NCrunch cache from project folder and any NCrunch related file (like .ncrunchproject and .ncrunchsolution files), to attempt to recreate a fresh start.
I have tried rerunning the configuration wizard.
I have tried submitting a bug report.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is related, but before this occurred NCrunch was having issues building my projects after I would switch branches. However, restating Visual Studio would resolve those issues.
Hi, thanks for posting.

This is a known problem with the preview build of VS2022. You'll need to switch to the non-preview version of VS2022 until MS fix an internal problem or we implement a workaround.
