Build/Test Issues

MSTest 4.0.0

Are there any known issues with NCrunch and MSTest 4.0.0?

I have tried to update to MSTest 4.0.0 in a couple of projects, but after I do NCrunch doesn't find any tests to run.

Reverting back to MSTest 3.11.0 allows test to be found and run again.

Hi, thanks for posting.

MSTest V4 isn't supported yet. Some work is needed before NCrunch can handle it. I recommend staying on v3.11 for the time being.
Ok thanks, will wait for NCrunch support.
Remco,

We just upgraded our entire suite of tests with over 1k changes specifically for MSTest 4 support. We do not have the option to downgrade to V3.

  • is there an ETA for MSTest 4 support?
  • any workarounds until V4 support?

Thanks!

Happy to report "NCrunch_VS2022_5.19.0.3.msi" brings back the NCrunch visual indicators and test discovery. Thanks!
Before we upgrade, can anyone confirm if MSTest v4 support is included in the latest public release? (v5.21)

Yes, it's in there. It went out with 5.19, back in October.
