If my solution contains also a WebSite, VS gets nearly unresponsive after a certain time
Please note that NCrunch is even disabled for all projects in that solution!
Only work araound is to uninstall NCrunch when working on web solutions and install it back for other solutions.

Tested with NCrunch 1.31b and 1.32b.

Never the less, thank you for this amazing tool!

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for reporting this issue. Performance issues can be tough to track down, so I'm wondering if you'd be able to help by answering any of the questions below?

- Does unloading/removing the website from the solution make any difference?
- How does the performance degrade? For example, if you open the Task Manager, does it appear to be working slowly because of excessive CPU or memory usage?
- How long does it usually take before its starts to really slow down?
- How large is the website project? (approx number of files)
- Have you managed to find any patterns around what kind of activities surface the issue? For example .. if you spend 30 minutes crazily typing in files that exist as part of the web project .. or perhaps doing lots of resharper refactorings, etc.

Cheers,

Remco

Remco,

Really strange - as reported uninstalling ncrunch fixed my performance issues, I am not able to reproduce after new installation.

Oh well, I'm glad the issue has disappeared .. though I am curious as to what caused it.

If you notice it happening again, can you push through a bug report using the top menu option?

Thanks!

Remco
