The Corner Indicator is a very helpful feature. But when NCrunch working with other development tools like Resharper and .NET Demon (all are important and popular tools), the UI becomes inconsistent. See the image below:

The appearance of corner indicator seems too complex. It contains 3 parts: Green outline, white filled circle, and a blue N.

How about replace these 3 parts with a slightly smaller green circle? I personally think the following would be more consistent and easier to understand:

Hi Yang,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure if I could implement such a change without a significant amount of similar feedback from other users, as the aspects of the spinner that you've suggested removing do actually contain a wealth of very useful information (especially on solutions with high test cycle times). You may also find that making the NCrunch indicator too similar to indicators from other tools would make it hard to tell them apart.

Cheers,

Remco

I just thought I'd add that you can actually customise the colours used to make up the corner spinner inside your NCrunch global configuration. If you set many of the colours to be similar to eachother, you'll reduce the visible complexity of the indicator and create a result that could be quite close to what you're asking for. Give it a try and see what you can make with it.

Cool! After playing with the color settings, I get a very similar result as I suggested.

It would be great if there were 4 more color settings:
- Inner circle colour on build failure.
- Inner circle colour on test failure.
- Inner circle colour when no failures exist.
- Text colour when no failures exist.

Cheers,
Yang
