I right clicked on one of my green test coverage dots and selected to "Show tests covering this line". Then when that window showed up I decided for whatever reason to try to move that window by dragging it's title bar to see if I could dock that window. The result is that now every time I open that window I get a window of varying size that has no contents.

Disabling and Re Enabling NCrunch DOES NOT resolve the issue.
Restarting Visual Studio DOES resolve this issue

Blank Test Covering Window

Setup VS 2010 (VS 2012 also installed)
ReSharper 7.0.1
NCrunch 1.41.0.50b

Let me know if you need details.
Thanks,
Mark Smith

Hi Mark -

It looks as though Visual Studio has tried to 'remember' the position of the dialog even though it isn't a tool window pane.

Try deleting the .suo file associated with your solution (while Visual Studio is closed).

If this doesn't do the trick, try the following:

1. Uninstall NCrunch
2. Load up Visual Studio, opening the same solution you usually work with
3. Close down Visual Studio
4. Reinstall NCrunch

... A bit of a process, but in theory this should force VS to reset the NCrunch dialog positions and sort itself out.
Thanks for making me aware of this problem. I had no idea this was possible.

Cheers,

Remco

Hey Remco,

No need for all that fuss about the suo file or reinstalling NCrunch. Just restarting visual studio is all that is required in order to resolve the issue. I just won't try to dock that window anymore :) (unless you tell me I can).

Thanks,
Mark Smith

No problem. I've noted the issue down to be addressed. Thanks for reporting it!
