The IDL file in our project doesn't copy. It is defined in the project file like this:

<ItemGroup>
<Midl Include="..." />
</ItemGroup>

I looked at the NCrunch directory where this project was being built and it is not there. So the build fails.

Hi Corey -

This is a file type that NCrunch isn't familiar with, so by default it won't include it in the workspace. You can work around this by adding the file to the 'Additional files to include' project-level NCrunch configuration setting.

I'll add the file type to the autoconfiguration list for a future version, so that NCrunch will put it up automatically in future.

Cheers,

Remco

I tried using Additional files to include but:

1. The default value for this setting for this project is empty (unlike most of my other projects, which say "No additional files included").

2. When I click the "..." button to change this setting, I get an error dialog that says "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source"

Thanks for looking at this.

Sorry. This is the result of a known issue that appeared in the 1.41b build. You can find more information including a workaround here.

Yeah boyeeee! This one worked for me.

Now all of my projects are building. I still need a solution for the database login problem though (other thread).

Thanks for the temp solution!
