Hey,
Figured I'd drop a quick note about a bug I ran into this morning.
I opened up my laptop and brought up a VS 2012 instance I had running before I put my laptop to sleep and it had the Licensing window from NCrunch open and it wouldn't go away. The NCrunch engine was disabled when I opened my laptop and so I reenabled it hoping it would go away but it didn't. I eventually had to close the Visual Studio Instance and reopen VS for that window to close.

My personal preference would be to remove that window altogether for licensed users. I already know it's paid for, you don't have to tell me every time it opens. If there's a change to that status, or an expiration or update, then by all means warn me. But for standard everything's normal I prefer less intrusive options like an about screen.

Thanks,
Mark Smith

Hi Mark -

The issue with the license popup showing when the system is enabled is actually a bug, so it seems that the best way to resolve this problem is for me to fix the bug ;)

My theory is that putting your laptop into sleep mode somehow messed up the timer event that is intended to remove popup windows after a few seconds. If this happens to you again, try kicking off a single test using the NCrunch tests window - this may retrigger the event and hide the window.

Cheers,

Remco

If I run into the issue again I'll give what you suggested a go and let you know. Otherwise I'm all for fixing the bug as intended because I don't want to see the popup anymore either.
Thanks,
