My project relies on some source files that it generates from an included .xml file.

My project lives in MySolution\MyProject\ The generated files appear in source under ..\MySolution\Intermediate\Debug\MyProject\foo.generated.cs

In the “Additional Files To Include” settings I’ve added: ..\Intermediate\Debug\MyProject\foo.generated.cs

(I also tried adding the whole directory : ..\Intermediate\Debug\MyProject*.*)

NCrunch can’t build my project because it says one of the classes in foo.generated.cs doesn’t exist.

So what am I missing?

Hi, thanks for posting!

The solution to this will depend upon the timing and manner of the generation. How are these files generated? Is this done via an automated test, or special build step? Is there a 3rd party framework involved?

Cheers,

Remco
