"NCrunch Client Inactive" - cannot use grid nodes?

[v3.22]

Am I missing something or how come I cannot use grid nodes due to NCrunch tells me "NCrunch Client Inactive" with multiple vstudio instances running ?
(I can run tests just fine with NCrunch, I have 2 vs2017 instances open and the instance I opened first I can change the grid node states)

This message is shown when the NCrunch client inside VS is disabled. There's nothing in the system to stop you from using multiple grid-connected VS instances on the same machine. Has NCrunch completed its initialisation process for both of your open instances?

Yeah I was working and running tests "as usual" in session 2 when I noticed it and it was like that for a long period of time.

I closed solution 2 when I was done however and now when I reopened it I cannot reproduce it so it seems to have been a temporary hickup of some kind.
