hi,
is this the only solution....?
I tried this earlier and and resharper didnt really like that too much from what I recall and the IDE basically ground to a halt it was so slow. I had to uninstall both 4.5.1 and NCrunch
Why does it need 4.5.1..?
do I have to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version?
I have to be honest you guys are pretty responsive in your service and support but this is not a 'pleasant experience' and I don't see why I have to install 4.5.1

Hi,
4.5.1 normally isn't required for NCrunch. A change in V2 to add support for this version of the framework introduced a bug that created this problem. The link above includes a reference to a build of NCrunch that you can install that will use a v4.5 task runner that does not require v4.5.1 installed.
V2.5 of NCrunch is being officially released today which also includes the above fix. Sorry for the trouble.
