Just discovered it was this issue. I occasionally remote desktop into this device from a different one which has a different DPI. Disabling the option mentioned in that thread makes my windows render fine. Now I just have to work out what's causing 963 tests to fail... I doubt that's your problem though ;)

Hi Matthew,

I had some issues replicating the High DPI issue. Would you mind enabling the setting/option again and submitting a bug report from the NCrunch menu? This might help me debug the issue.

Thanks!

Any chance of getting a grid node installer for this version? I could really use that build fix for my grid...

Hi,

I've created a new release. This release might have a positive impact on the color scheme and empty windows. Would you mind testing it? If it still doesn't work I at least will have ruled out a couple of issues. If it still shows empty windows, would you mind submitting a bug report via the Extensions->NCrunch menu?

This release requires you to uninstall NCrunch for VS2019 and reinstall with the current installer.

NCrunch_VS2019_3.25.0.2.msi
NCrunch_VS2019_3.25.0.2.msi.7z
NCrunch_VS2019_3.25.0.2.zip

Release notes for 3.25.0.2 since version v3.24.0.5

Improved how NCrunch is loaded under Visual Studio 2019

Fixed an issue with upgrading the extension for Visual Studio 2019. Please uninstall the previous version of NCrunch for Visual Studio 2019 first, there might be more than one.

Added support for the new Visual Studio 2019 Blue theme

Fixed a problem with building projects under Visual Studio 2019 when the build task referenced certain assemblies

I've had the same transparency issue, including with this pre-release version of NCrunch and with both Light, Blue and Dark theme. Figured out I would do some exploratory testing with the visual experience options, and turned out that the problem was with the "Optimize rendering for screens with different pixel densities" option. Once I turned that off, all was fine. I have a Lenovo P52 with the Quadro P2000 graphics card, if that matters, and am on RC3 of Visual Studio.

Just submitted 2 bug reports. One with the DPI change enabled (where nothing renders) and one with it disabled (where it renders fine). My Windows is set to 100% in Display Options

Also, scaling is set to 125 % on my laptop (and 100 % on external, main display). In Advanced scaling settings, it did not matter if Windows was set to "fix apps so they're not blurry" or not.

I'm seeing the same problem as MatthewSteeples. The test runner windows is not showing any content.
I just submitted a bug report. Hope that helps.

I also have a high dpi screen with 150% scaling factor.

We've just released v3.25 including a number of VS2019 fixes.

The DPI scaling issues are quite widespread are we're working to resolve them. It will be a little while before we're able to publish a build with these issues resolved.

Thanks for the update. No big rush, given the current workaround. :)

Not sure if this is related to 2019, but I'm having unresponsive NCrunch window in 2019.

I've just submitted a bug report - please let me know if there's anything you want me to try out. It seems pretty random and I can go hours or minutes before seeing it.

Thanks for submitting the report! We’ll have a look. We’ve found a couple of issues ourselves that are fixed in the next release. I’ll check to see if this is new.

Thanks Michael. I'm trying 3.26.0.3 and still seeing the same issues if that helps you narrow anything down.

Thanks for taking the time :)

Do you know if this also happens if you open the solution directly via the sln file or only when you use the new splash screen? I've patched a hole (upcoming release) where sometimes we don't load correctly when a solution is loaded via the splash screen.
